Once a generation, a musical talent comes along who is undeniable, who is unquantifiable, who defies all comparison to those who have come before.

Today, that artist is ...

Um, Mac Quayle?

That's the one. You have a problem with it?

It's a bit over the top, isn't it?

Well, I suppose. But this is his bio. I want it to sing!

Oh, it sings all right.

Too much?

Try again.

Ahem ... After conquering the music business, producer, remixer and instrumentalist Mac Quayle set his sights on Hollywood, creating lush and diverse scores for film and television ...

Conquering? Is he a Hun? Was he wearing, like, one of those big metal helmets?

All right, all right. Sheesh.

Composer, producer, remixer, multi-instrumentalist Mac Quayle makes music. Lots of music. As a composer he has written music for 6 films and 76 episodes of the hit CBS television show "Cold Case", collaborating with renowned composers Cliff Martinez (Traffic, Solaris, Pee-wee's Playhouse) and Michael Levine (Cold Case, Close To Home, Kit Kat Theme).

That's more like it.

As a producer, remixer and keyboardist Mac has worked on over 300 releases, 40 #1 Billboard Dance Hits (yes 40!), garnered a Grammy Nomination for producing Donna Summer and been awarded numerous Gold and Platinum records. Along the way he has created music for a long list of artists that include Madonna, Whitney Houston, Depeche Mode, Britney Spears, Elvis Presley, Annie Lennox, New Order, Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Sting.

Mm hmm.

When asked recently to talk about some highlights of his career, Mac responded: "I have been very fortunate to work with so many talented people over the years. However, there is one special moment that stands out for me."

Oh?

"Playing ping pong with Peter Gabriel at Realworld."

My head hurts.

Mac lives, works and plays ping-pong in the mountains near Los Angeles.
